How to play this build
Spam Crystal Slash (Q) which on AP + Iceborn deals AoE damage and slows while you clear jungle fast. On ganks, the Impale (R) still drags the enemy carry into your team: a guaranteed kidnap.

- Crystal Slash (Q) for AoE damage and jungle clear; Crystalline Exoskeleton (W) second for the shield and speed.
Items and what they do

Spirit of the Ancient Golem Tank jungle item: health, tenacity and the Smite buff (jungle sustain). -
Iceborn Gauntlet Armor, mana and CDR; after a spell, your attack deals AoE damage and slows (upgraded Sheen). -
Lich Bane AP, mana and move speed; attack after a spell deals huge magic damage scaling with AP. Key for AP auto builds. -
Rylai's Crystal Scepter AP and health; your spells slow enemies (helps land everything). -
Sorcerer's Shoes Boots with magic penetration.
Runes
In classic LoL, runes were a system SEPARATE from masteries: bought with IP (Influence Points) and slotted into 4 tiers — Marks (red), Seals (yellow), Glyphs (blue) and Quintessences (purple, the strongest). They gave flat stats: damage, armor, penetration, etc.

Masteries: how they work
In classic LoL you have up to 30 points (at level 30) to split across three trees: Offense (damage), Defense (durability) and Utility (mana, cooldown reduction and mobility). The notation 21/0/9 means 21 points in Offense, 0 in Defense and 9 in Utility.
