How to play this build

Use Null Sphere (Q) to bully mage tops and absorb their damage; before 6 play safe and farm. After the ult, Riftwalk (R) makes you unstoppable: jump in, kill the squishy and blink out repeatedly.

Strengths

  • Null Sphere (Q) gives you a magic shield and a silence: it neutralizes mage tops.
  • Riftwalk (R) after level 6 makes you unstoppable at splitpush and for chasing/escaping.
  • Scales into an assassin that deletes mages and appears anywhere.
  • Force Pulse (E) + Nether Blade give waveclear and magic burst.

Weaknesses

  • Very weak early: you're vulnerable until level 6 and a few items.
  • Riftwalk costs more mana each time you use it in quick succession.
  • Fragile if caught without the Q shield.
  • Against AD tops you don't have the ideal shield and struggle more.

Key combos

  • Riftwalk (R) to enter → Null Sphere (Q) to silence → Force Pulse (E) + Nether Blade auto for the burst; chain Riftwalks to chase.

Matchups

You beat

  • Mage tops: the Q's shield and silence neutralize them.
  • Low-CC comps where you Riftwalk freely and delete the carry.

Trouble vs

  • Aggressive AD tops who blow you up early.
  • Hard CC that locks you between Riftwalks.

Game plan

Survive the early farming with Q and Force Pulse; avoid fighting before level 6. With R up and a couple of items, you're a splitpush and assassination threat: Riftwalk onto the enemy mage, silence and delete them. Use Riftwalk to enter and exit, watching your mana.

Quick tips

  • Use Null Sphere to silence the enemy mage's key spell.
  • Don't spam Riftwalk: each consecutive use costs much more mana.

Skill order

Max priority:

Q Esfera Nula E Pulso de Fuerza W Espada del Vacío

The ultimate (R) is always leveled at 6, 11 and 16.

Level 123456789101112131415161718
Q QQQQQ
W WWWWW
E EEEEE
R RRR
Why this order
Null Sphere (Q) for poke and the magic shield that makes you a top-lane bully; E second. A mid Kass usually maxes E first.

  3. Rabadon's Deathcap
Rabadon's Deathcap The biggest AP item in the game: multiplies your total AP.
  4. Void Staff
Void Staff AP and % magic penetration; a must vs. enemies stacking MR.

Runes

In classic LoL, runes were a system SEPARATE from masteries: bought with IP (Influence Points) and slotted into 4 tiers — Marks (red), Seals (yellow), Glyphs (blue) and Quintessences (purple, the strongest). They gave flat stats: damage, armor, penetration, etc.

Marks (red) Magic penetration ×9
Seals (yellow) Armor ×9
Glyphs (blue) Ability power per level ×9
Quintessences (purple) Ability power ×3

Magic pen, health, AP quints

Masteries: how they work

In classic LoL you have up to 30 points (at level 30) to split across three trees: Offense (damage), Defense (durability) and Utility (mana, cooldown reduction and mobility). The notation 21/0/9 means 21 points in Offense, 0 in Defense and 9 in Utility.

Masteries
21/0/9 — Offense
Why this page
21/0/9 goes damage so your blinks one-combo squishies.
